József Kreinbacher founded the estate in 2002 and bought his first vineyards on the Somló hill.

Since 2003, the vineyards have been replanted and the vineyard and winery have been continuously developed to produce wines that best express the terroir.

Today, some 48 hectares are farmed organically and a further 20-30 hectares are harvested each year.

Kreinbacher Birtok's vineyards are located in excellent locations, under basalt towers, and are farmed organically.

 

Norbert Bodorkós is the technical manager, György Várszegi the winemaker and Dániel Molnár the viticulturist, assisted by Christian Forget, the cellar master at Paul Bara in Champagne, and Stefano Dini, the viticultural consultant.
