Tokaj-Hétszőlő takes the name of the vineyard of the same name, which is owned by the winery.

The 55-hectare estate produces wines mainly from furmint, hárslevelű and sárgamuskotály.

The emphasis in the cellar is on late harvest and aszú wines, the latter being made by macerating the aszú grapes in must. The Rákóczi Cellar, located in the centre of Tokaj and owned by the winery, is one of the oldest and most important in the wine region.

The estate has been organically farmed since 2014.

The winery was founded in 1991 by Michel Reybier, who also owns Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux, but the winemaking and management is in Hungarian hands with the assistance of Tamás Oroszlán, commercial director, and Gergely Makai, estate manager.
