Szászi Birtok is one of the first certified organic vineyards in the country. Their vineyards are located on the southern slopes of the Szent György Hill, in Szigliget, Hajagos and Lesencetomaj.

Their philosophy is as simple as their relationship with the landscape: to create something of value and beauty, with maximum respect for the environment. That is why they are committed to organic farming and sustainable farm development.

Their aim is to tell the story of this small corner of the world in a fluent way, using traditional and modern winemaking techniques, with vintage specificity and an ethical use of the environment.

The grapes are protected and processed with gentle tools.

They do not use absorbent plant protection products, their main tools being foliar fertiliser, orange oil and sulphur.

They prune by hand, harvest by hand, and follow the grapes from the first buds to bottling.
