Wine trader Lajos Takács was one of the outstanding winemakers of the Somló wine region until 2013.

In 1997, he founded the Hollóvár winery, which became famous for its high quality wines close to nature.

He returned to the Tokaj Hills in 2014, making the last vintage of Hollóvár wines 2013.

His wines are still on the wine list of several prominent Hungarian restaurants.
