CANTINA TOLLO

Tollo, Italy

Winemaker: Andrea Di Fabio

Land size: 2700 hectares

Varieties of grapes: Montepulciano, Cerasuolo, Trebbiano, Pecorino

The winery was founded in 1960, when the Abruzzo countryside was once again depopulated and many Italians left the country in search of a better future.

"Our fathers, who had been winegrowers for generations, decided to stay in the vineyards and Cantina Tollo was born.

The Cantina was one of the leading players in the climate of vinous fermentation that animated the Abruzzo region in the 1960s and 1970s and played an active role in the sector, contributing to a radical change in the region's wine geography.

Today, Cantina Tollo is one of the most important and influential companies in the Italian wine sector.

It is present in all the countries of the European Union, North America and the Far East, exporting 35% of its production, particularly to the emerging markets of Russia, India and China.

Cantina Tollo is committed to continuously improving the quality of its products and services, while respecting the environment and people, in order to meet the needs of all stakeholders as soon as possible."
