Tokaj, Hungary

Winemaker: Judit Bodó and József Bodó
Land size: 7 hectares
Vineyards: Teleki, Előhegy, Határi, Csontos, Kulcsár
Varieties of grapes: Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárgamuskotály

Judit Bodó was born in the Highlands, went to agricultural college and came to Tokaj with József in 2000.

They dreamed of owning a farm, growing grapes, making wine, building a community - all of which wine is a tool for.

No chemicals are used in the vineyards, the wines ferment spontaneously in oak barrels.

The pursuit of the highest quality helps to bring people with shared values together to work towards a successful future for a centuries-old wine region.

In 2021, Judit Bodó received the prestigious Winemakers' Winemaker Award, chosen by a secret ballot of the 50 best winemakers in the Carpathian Basin.

"The aim is to find balance and elegance in wine.

It remains to be seen whether the perfect Tokaji for us will be a blend of varieties or vineyards."
